Horizon dry cat foods do produce a slightly acidic urine pH. Normally a cat's urine pH will fluctuate with the amount of time since they have eaten a meal. We formulate our food to create an average slightly acidic urine (around 6.3 - 6.5).

If you are really curious, you can pickup some pH strips at your local pharmacy and test your cat's urine at a number of times during the day. By doing this you can find an average pH for your cat, remembering that every cat will be slightly different.
