Horizon Profile: Jason Skotheim, M.Sc., P.Ag.

Jason SkotheimJason Skotheim is Horizon's Pet Nutrition's VP of Operations and an owner of this new, state-of-the-art manufacturing company. Previously, Jason has worked for Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food at the University of Saskatchewan College of Agriculture as a research economist. Jason has also recently consulted on numerous domestic and international projects for many groups and organizations including the Canadian Farm Business Management Council, Canadian Wheat Board and the World Bank. Jason has a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.

Jason has a wealth of knowledge on the roles and purposes of specific ingredients in pet food which he has employed in the formulations of Horizon Pet Nutrition diets. Jason also enjoys sharing his knowledge with pet guardians, so if you have a questions on our foods, don't be surprised if you get a response directly from Jason himself!
